I welcome thee into my humble abode. You may need to duck or step over something, but I am most positive that you will find your way around with ease. I do find myself literate, but I do hope you pardon me if I stumble upon my words. For I am still learning. I still get ink all over my gentle hands... So you may challenge me to a duel with the pen or sword, though the sword is still my favorite to use. That is how my scribe was injured, so now I am doing this myself. If it pleases you, I shall tell you a little about myself.

will be changing it soon. My device did pass and it is registered under
Arianna of Atenveldt. My humblest apoligies for the color differences
shown in the picture, as the web site does not accept the original format - this
will do for now. Basically the rose and panther (yes it's a panther not a
house cat) are purple.

You can usually find me wearing purple of some sort. In 1999, I've been found on or near the Rapier field, hence the reason for the extensive rapier links page. Except for the minor setback of a broken limb. I was living in the Kingdom of Atenveldt (mka Arizona). My current persona is late 15th-16th century Swiss-German. One hard area to find info on. And yes there are other equally hard or more difficult areas to research. I dabble in just about everything, so you will find a myriad of SCA topics here. I have been on a pilgrimage in 2000. I went to Estrella War, Gulf Wars, Pennsic War XXIX, and various smaller events. I was able to spend time in Meridies, Trimaris, Aethelmearc, Midrealm, and East Kingdoms. The beginning of 2001 found me in The Shire of Hunter's Home. I did some work on their website.
Right now this page is mostly links. It should help with researching SCA topics on the net. If you don't know much about the Society of Creative Anachronism, visit their site. You should be able to locate your local SCA branch.

Atenveldt has it's own mailing list see it's page for more info. There are also SCA rapier (aten-rapier), historical rapier(rapier-l), A&S, bluefeather lists. As well as others I may not know of. You can also check out the rialto at rec.sca.org. It's an SCA newsgroup.
- Rapier Links I'm hoping you can find anything SCA rapier-oriented (particularly schlagers) within 2-3 links/clicks from this page. Lots of research, still expanding... Atenveldt is a schlager only kingdom. I included a few generic fighting links. I will eventually separate them from the rapier page, but until then…

Some of my notes on this particular wonderful healing modality. Reiki energy feels like Love to me. Some refer to it as "The Force." Life as I view it in Ohio and Pennsylvania. White stuff! Winter 2000-2001 is turning out to be my first WHITE winter. I am actually living it finally. I also now know how to drive in snow. Yay!
Grant Info
Lately, I've been looking into grants. A first-time home buyer can get grants up to about $100,000, just to buy a house. And it doesn't really matter how much you earn per year. Women and minorities are very eligible to get grants for starting and running a business. People on disability rarely get turned down. And so much other stuff. I am still looking into these and other possibilities. The links provided can help you get started into looking for grants for yourself. For I may or may not know the exact agency you may need for a particular grant.
